Volunteer - Teachers

Volunteer as a teacher, for refugee children to improve their skills.

we are looking for:

• Enthusiastic driven volunteers in mentoring children to excel in English literacy 
  
• Children loving, Compassionate and caring teachers.

Save School for Refugees Malaysia is looking for 7 dedicated volunteer teachers to embark a 2-week teaching journey for a number 135 children from the low-income families.

overview description of this teaching journey:

1. Quick workshop by Centre director on refugee child protection and Human rights.

Volunteer teachers are required to attend a quick-2 hour workshop training provided by facilitators on:

Date: 11 February 2019 (Monday)
Time: 8am till 10am
Venue: save school for refugees @ 23, Jalan 9/21D Medan Idaman Gombak
The Volunteers will be trained on:
- How to conduct pre & post-diagnostic with the students
- How to use the teaching modules
- Teaching techniques or steps to engage with refugee students

2. Actual teaching starts from 12 February till 1 March (every weekdays) 9:00am to 12:00pm

We believe this will an enriching experience for you who sign up as volunteer teachers to witness the educational growth and transformation of these children during these 2 weeks teaching journey!
