MYReaders is a non-profit social enterprise that aims to help all children learn to read, regardless of their socio-economic background. Join us to help realise this dream!

What is this project?

The MYReaders Parents Reading Programme is a social initiative in collaboration with the Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament's office and KL Gateway Mall. Volunteers will guide parents whose children are involved in our remedial reading programme, Kerinchi Literacy Hub.

Who are the students involved?

The parents come from the community around the Kerinchi PPR flats, many from less privileged backgrounds.

What do I need to do? 

Join us on Saturday from 10.00 am to 11.00 pm. We will be at KL Gateway Mall, in front of Anytime Fitness on level 1. It is accessible via Universiti LRT.  

You'll be guiding the parents to read and learn a list of words their children are expected to master. The parents need to know how to use these words to create a comfortable learning space at home, where their children can ask them the words that they have learnt but do not understand.
