A Brief Introduction

The purpose of this activity is to show students that they can overcome their stress and frustration. 

In this activity, participants will be asked to write down things that stress them on pieces of papers. Afterwards, they will be asked to fold the pieces of papers as small as possible so that it can be put inside a balloon which they are going to inflate. Now that whatever stresses the participants are inside the balloon, they will be asked to try and burst the balloon using their hands. If successful, it simply shows that they can overcome their stress.

What has been accomplished

By bursting the balloon using your hands after keeping all the issues you face inside it, it shows gives the students a sense of control over their life. This message will help them further on in their life and will always be a reminder that you are the one in control.

Final Words

Finding ways to cope with stress is important. This activity could be one form coping with stress. It is also important to acknowledge the issues you’re facing if you wish to overcome them. Therefore, writing it down and bursting the balloon is a message which states that you can overcome any such issues as long as your acknowledge it and face it head on!
