We are looking for Pathfinders for JOHOR!
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about understanding people, communities and telling stories to join us as Pathfinders.
We’re looking to map communities that are looking to create a better future for themselves so that interested individuals and organisations can partner with them.
In September, Epic Lead Pathfinders began mapping and conversations with village leaders to activate their local resources to develop their own communities. We have received their support to take the next step: Community Mapping.
We are looking for individuals to join us as volunteer Pathfinders, to interview community members and collect information that will enable the sharing of community stories in a dignified and accurate manner to invite collaborators to partner alongside these communities to enable positive impact.

Time: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Workshop Location: Seri Jubli International School, Kluang, Johor.
Mission Location: Kampung Orang Asli Kuala Sengka (45 mins away)
Fee: RM25 includes workshop materials, lunch and mission collaterals
This workshop is compulsory for all new Pathfinders

Participating in the Pathfinders program gave me firsthand insight into Kampung Orang Asli and it was an unforgettable experience. The program was exceptionally well-organized and communicative, thanks to the leadership of Yvonne and Abby. We visited Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Peroh, Kahang, Kluang, Johor, a unique village that provides a fascinating glimpse into the traditional lifestyles of the Orang Asli community. The village beautifully blends age-old customs with modern conveniences, preserving its heritage while gradually embracing new advancements. This harmonious balance between tradition and modernity made my visit truly special.
