Our project is to gather information regarding the reasons of why many people choose not to be a blood donor and we would like to raise awareness on the importance of having sufficient blood supply in National Blood Bank. For this project, we will be interviewing the voluntary donors and non-blood donors to gather more information to understand from a different point of view. Furthermore, we hope that through our blood donation awareness campaign and the blood donation activity, the public would have a better understanding regarding the importance of blood donation.
The demand for blood has been increasing over the years and there are many people who are experiencing a large range of conditions that require blood provided through donation. This portrays that there is a constant need of blood supply. We believe that there are many people who are not aware of the importance of having sufficient blood supply in the National Blood Bank. Many lives can be in danger when blood supply is not sufficient to provide to those in need. Therefore, through this project, we would like to raise awareness to change the perception of the public regarding blood donation and educate them the benefits for donating blood.
