We have the Basic Builder Workshop coming up in May! Sign Up now and equip yourself with the DIY skills to build your life.

If you are wondering what the Basic Builder Workshop is about:

The Basic Builder workshop is all about having fun with fellow learners, learning how to use basic hand and power tools, making some new friends and challenging yourself. We think that everyone can benefit from learning basic DIY skills like how to identify a nail from a screw or correctly building that new IKEA furniture for yourself.

Plus, by completing this workshop, as an impact outlet you qualify to serve with EPIC Homes in their mission to provide safe homes for marginalised communities.

We hold the Basic Builder Workshop every month, join us and learn new. applicable skills.

Workshop Schedule

TIME	AGENDA
9.30am	Attendance and Registration
10am - 10.45am	Ice Breaker and Briefing Session
10.45am - 11.30pm	LUNCH (provided by EPIC DNA)
11.30pm - 1pm	Workshop Part 1 Participants will explore and be assessed on the following: Sawing Hammering Drilling Hand Tools & Fasteners Safety & Scaffolding
1pm - 3.45pm	Workshop Part 2 Execution of Special Project. Participants will be allowed to design and build an item (will be informed during the workshop). This is to allow volunteers to experience how a build works.
3.50pm - 4pm	Review and closing

Mission Impact

We want to equip communities with applicable and relevant skills for life. In the Basic Building Workshop we want to teach building skills for the everyday person to use and understand so that they can pursue projects that not only impact their personal lives, such as doing repair or DIY work at home but also for the community, such as rebuilding and repairing toilets, playgrounds in their local neighbourhoods.
