Become a Builder in the Basic Builder Workshop!

How to Register for the Basic Builder Workshop
1. Register and purchase a ticket for your chosen EPIC Home build date.

2. After purchasing a ticket you will be emailed an access code.

3. Click Register Now on this page and click the Locked Icon

4. Enter your Access Code, and click check out.

5. Fill in your participant details and click Register Now.

When?  21st July 2024, from 10.00AM to 5.00PM

What is the Basic Builder Workshop about?
The Basic Builder workshop is all about having fun with fellow learners, learning how to use basic hand and power tools, making some new friends and challenging yourself. We think that everyone can benefit from learning basic DIY skills like how to identify a nail from a screw or correctly building that new IKEA furniture for yourself.

By completing this workshop, as an impact outlet you qualify to serve with Epic Homes in their mission to provide safe homes for marginalized communities.

Mission Impact

We want to equip communities with applicable and relevant skills for life. In the Basic Building Workshop we want to teach building skills for the everyday person to use and understand so that they can pursue projects that not only impact their personal lives, such as doing repair or DIY work at home but also for the community, such as rebuilding and repairing toilets, playgrounds in their local neighbourhoods.

    Amazing basic builder workshop with helpful facilitators and a lovely space. Other participants were also such a joy to be around and work with.

    Lunch however could be more environmentally friendly by replacing disposable plastic packs with paper options or a big serving that we could take from to share.
