REXKL is a social enterprise occupying the old Rex Theatre in Petaling Street Precinct and transformed the building into an impact and cultural hub that empowers local communities and micro businesses. Our mission is to develop a place that synergises the diverse communities in Downtown Kuala Lumpur to create impacts that inspire others to be part of a better future. REXKL is designed to encourage entrepreneurship and cultural activities through community building and creative programming, providing an alternative hybrid space in the city for creativity, art, culture and micro businesses to prosper and grow. The core team works closely with other organisations and community groups around the area to build a stronger network as part of the collectives towards making Downtown KL a more liveable and lovable area.
