MAKANKONGSI 2.0 is co-organized by THE GOOD KITCHEN and ENGAGE, supported by BERSIH 2.0 to ensure that the most vulnerable communities get the basic essentials to feed their families during the MCO because no one should go hungry.
MakanKongsi 2.0 model is establishing community partnerships on the ground throughout the country. Our strength is that we have established a network of over 100 NGO/NGI committed partners who verify genuine and immediate needs and reach out to provide support in the communities they are based. And we get partners in the same area to work together to ensure that duplications are minimized.
MakanKongsi 2.0 is not only into providing the necessary resource for channeling food aid to the needy, but also empowering systems and creating synergies for sustainability. We seek out partners on the ground who have track record of doing good works and empower them so that even when we are no longer around, they are strengthened to carry on doing good for their communities.
