About
Kasih Hospice Care Society (KHC) is a non-profit
organisation providing holistic home hospice services free of charge to those
with life limiting conditions. Professional medical services, equipment and medicines are provided by
dedicated doctors and nurses and supported by volunteers, both at hospitals and
at home. All the services are free of charge and offered without discrimination
regardless of personal believes and demographics.
Kasih Hospice also aims to create public awareness
and interest in Palliative Care and hospice services, as well as provide a
platform for hospice training and volunteering, patient and elderly
caregiving skills, and the dissemination of information via public talks
by industrial professionals in medical and mental health fields.
As of 2020, with the Covid-19 Pandemic affecting our donor
base as well as imposing limited avenues for fundraising, the hospice requires
greater public goodwill and participation to survive and continue giving our
medical services to those in need.
