Kakak aims to empower refugees by providing job
opportunities and concurrently help Malaysians with domestic services through a
one-stop digital platform.
In light of the COVID-19 virus outbreak, Kakak is now working on providing humanitarian aid to refugees impacted. To date, Kakak has contributed aid to over 859 refugees with RM 23,374.05 raised thanks to our generous partners and donors.
Our beneficiaries are refugees from all walks of life whom have been identified by our partner refugee-related NGOs. The majority of these refugees that we provide to have lost jobs, are single parents, or breadwinners with a family to feed.
In a nutshell, Kakak is aiming to crowdfund to develop the application and to fund raise to provide humanitarian aid for refugees impacted by the virus outbreak.
