The 2018 survival horror parody game Fundamentals of Education and Learning by Baldi, developed by American independent studio Micah McGonigal, goes by a few names: Baldi's Basics, Baldi's Basics Classic, and most notably, Fundamentals of Education and Learning by Baldi. The game is a spoof on educational video games from the '90s, drawing inspiration from Sonic's Schoolhouse, IM Meen, and 3D Dinosaur Adventure, among others. It debuted as a beta version for Microsoft Windows and macOS on March 31, 2018, and on June 12, 2020, the full version, including all of the features and gameplay, was made available for early access.
